01 · The Linen Apartment
A nineteenth-century floor re-opened around a single shaft of north light. The family asked for fewer rooms and more air; we took out four walls and added none.
02 · House on the Dune
A house that takes salt air seriously. Every material was chosen to weather: honed travertine that silvers, ash that deepens, undyed wool that softens.
03 · Courtyard Residence
A machiya rebuilt around its courtyard. Every room borrows the garden's light; nothing in the palette competes with the maples.
04 · Villa Solane
Three generations under one roof, each with its own light. The villa's original terrazzo was repaired, never replaced.
05 · The Chef's Kitchen
A working kitchen for a chef at home: one honest counter, tools within arm's reach, and a window positioned for the morning.
06 · Greenhouse Flat
A garden flat rebuilt as an indoor greenhouse: brick, glass and a planting shelf that runs the length of the south wall.
