The engagement, phase by phase
Listening
We visit the site at different hours and ask how you actually live — who cooks, who reads, where the dog sleeps. Deliverable: a written brief you approve before any drawing begins.
Drawing
Plans, sections and two material directions, drawn by the principals. Presented whole, in one sitting — plans, materials, light and furniture together. Two rounds of revision are included, stated in writing.
Making
We tender to our trusted makers, administer the works and visit the site weekly. Every sample arrives at the studio before it arrives at your house. You receive a monthly written report — never silence.
Arriving
Furniture delivered, art hung, linen pressed. We style the house for its first week of real life, then leave you a maintenance book — how each material wants to be cared for, room by room.
On revisions and fees
Two rounds of revision are included in every phase — stated in the contract, never billed as a surprise. If a scope change comes from you, we quote it in writing before drawing a line. We would rather say so plainly than have you wonder.
Also, sometimes
Not every home needs the full engagement. Two smaller services exist for the right situations:
One studio day: a full materials and colour direction for a single room or floor, delivered as a specification you can build from.
For architecture already complete: furniture plans, sourcing and styling, drawn around the light you already have.
